Bed and mattress topper question

Frostyfoxy · 03/03/2012 11:28

I am getting a new memory foam mattress (complete new bed actually!) next week and was wondering if I will still need my mattress topper that I have at the moment aswell? I guess not as it will "take away" from the memory-ness of the matress?

I know you lovely mners will know the answer!

TIA

Well, I just bought a memory foam topper from Dunelm Mill and it is quite firm. TBH I put a thin duvet over the top of it to get the right level of softness for my hip (bursitis) So I am like the Princess and the Pea. Hope this helps

Rez - I now have an image of you with a step ladder to get into your bed! Grin

I think may be the answer is to try it and see!

Thanks!

I would definitely get a topper as it protects the mattress from spillages Blush and dust mites. You will still sink into the memory foam!

Thanks MrsHoolie! Good to hear that even with the topper I will still have the effect from the memory foam.

I am now really looking forward to my new bed, roll on Tuesday! Simple pleasures! Grin
