Silly question re soft bodied dolls

Sorry silly question I know.. But can I just chuck it in the washing machine to clean it? Or will i ruin it? It stinks!

I chuck our in the washer and they've always been fine. Always add a bit of vanish (type) powder against the stink and a full wack of fabric conditioner to help with drying.

I put mine in the washing machine and then peg them up on the line to enjoy the sunshine

I put them in a pillow case first and do a wool cycle with a small amount of detergent and fabric softner
