Curtain poles mmmmmmmm interesting.....

I need to buy curtain poles for a whole house, dh is getting a bit stressy over the amount we have spent so far, and is not happy with the amount that potentially putting up curtains is going to cost. He wants to buy cheap plastic rails for pencil pleats, but I want poles so that we can have a choice over what type of curtains to put up. I know he likes eyelet types, but he can't see past the £'s at the moment.
So please can someone find me some reasonably cheap but not too useless curtain poles, or if anyone has bought any, where did you buy them from?

Oh and particularly for bay windows, which is the biggest prob as far as I can see....

Next have bay window poles for £60 - the rings have gaps which allow them to slide over the supports.

and Dunelm have something similar for £50 here

Just didn't think to look at Next, don't usually shop there for household items, just kids stuff.Smile

Ikea. Ours are 10 years old and still ok. Having said that I have just taken down the ones in the kitchen dining room permanently because they were so grimy - cant think why I wanted them there in the first place! We also have poles from home base/focus type shops in the kids rooms. They are fine too.

Wilkos. Ace for curtain poles and picture frames!

billgrangersrisotto · 02/03/2012 19:33

Ps. You can order online
