I think mine needs something more than a hoover, it is truly vile.
Any magic products out there?

Q tips soaked in a bit of cleaning spray? Not too wet though.

mousymouseafraidofdogs · 02/03/2012 14:27

but it upside down and shake to get the crumbs out
then baby wipes.

If turning it upside down and shaking it does not work, I buy a new one. They're only a fiver up t'road.

done the shaking upside down thing but it still looks a bit furry not great.
I do share with DH who I know has a tendancy to eat over the keyboard...

I recently sat with an ill child on my lap and a pair of curved nailscissors nearby and survived several episodes of Don't Tell the Bride by scraping out a sickening amount of fluff and crumbs with the scissors. They are just the right shape and can be kind of tweezers. It was a monumentally boring but addictive task and I don't think I'd ever have done it if I wasn't trapped on the sofa. Now my keyboard looks lovely though.

I bought a kit from the 99p store - good brush for getting into the nooks and crannies, cloth and spray.

NettoSuperstar · 02/03/2012 16:34

Um, does dusting it with my sleeve count?

LikeAnAdventCandleButNotQuite · 02/03/2012 16:34

Ive just done mine today. Q-tip, no spray on it or anything, wipe inbetween every key (start from top to bottom). Once all the shit dust is out from between the keys, spray a cloth with cleaner and wipe the whole thing over.
