just killed a wasp in my sitting room

in february ,,, is this normal...it was quite big...bloody evil thing!

I got one last week. It too was enormous, but silent. I'd have expected a beast like that to make some major buzzing.

What I found particularly freaky was that I'd not long got up, having dreamed of killing a wasp - but as it was so quiet and all the internal doors were shut I don't see how I would have been able to hear it and for that to put a wasp into my dream IYSWIM?

Mind you, in the dream I was daintily leaping about trying to swat the wasp, whereas the real one was treated to my heavily pregnant frame gallumping around the living room trying to twat the little bastard with an old magazine.

I have had a few in the house this month. They have been big beasts, but quite dozy and easy to deal with. I was beginning to suspect a wasps nest. I think the mild winter hasn't killed them off properly. I hope we don't get loads this year.
