Been there done that! I lay awake night after night wondering if it was still alive down there - the smell was the 1st inkling that death had occurred! Unfortunately the bloody thing died in an unreachable place and the smell was horrible for weeks til it must have mummified! But better a smelly dead rat than a one running about in your house I say! Sorry to any rat lovers but I seriously dislike them! x

Its awful, i dont feel guilty they are vermin. The council pest chap turned up earlier and has removed a dead baby from kitchen, must hav hid and eaten my poison yay! But not good that we have babies booo. Had to pull up carpets and floor boards in lounge, skiorting board off and he put a ton of poison down. That will def do it he said. Am still imagining noises, scared to put hand in washing machine etc, cant sleep as think its goin to be everywhere am gonna hav a proper breakdown. :'(
