What is your 'secret stash' ??

I have a huge bar or Dairy Milk hidden behind the flour and sugar in my 'baking cupboard'. DH or the kids will NEVER find it there. I enjoy having a single square very occasionally with a cup of coffee . If DH got wind of it, it would be gone in less than an hour..... Hmm

Oh, and my 'hidden' £1 coins in the secret drawer under the seat in the car - for emergency parking/ supermarket trolleys etc.

What's yours?

I usually have a bar of Green and Blacks hidden behind the baking stuff. If DH realises I have any junk in the house, he eats it in seconds. Oh, and he doesn't know that there is a multipack of crisps hidden behind the tinned tomatoes and boxes of weetabix in the bottom cupboard, left over from half term's packed lunches.

Ha ha - sounds like the baking cupboard is the place to hide it

My whole house is neatly ordered and everything has its place. For some reason this means that DH is incapable of finding anything so for me, I hide chocolate where the chocolate and sweets live.

I'm deeply cunning Hmm

I hide galaxy and packets of nuts in the cupboard under the sink where the cleaning stuff lives. I have a DH and 2 teenage boys, so I know that no-one will ever look there. Wink

thirteentales · 01/03/2012 21:31

a bag of thorntons toffee in a giant mug no one ever uses on the top shelf of the cupboard.

ChippyMinton · 01/03/2012 21:35

Individual-size cans of tonic water and frozen lemon slices. Actually, I don't know why I tuck them away as DH hates gin Hmm.

DH thinks he has a secret stash of pot noodle in the boot of his car Grin

I love waitingforme's secret stash :)

I have 2 loo rolls behind the hot water tank, noone in this house thinks to mention they have taken the last one.

Pennybubbly · 02/03/2012 05:06

My stash of Dairy Milk bars lies at the back of the vegetable drawer of the fridge.
No-one would venture there for a quick snack...
Hee-hee.

campocaro · 02/03/2012 05:10

I have a secret stash of dark chocolate Bounty bars ...hidden at our local service station. I can get one when filling up with diesel and eat it undetected by the time I get home. Yum

Icelollycraving · 02/03/2012 08:15

Curly wurlys in the salad drawer under the celery. Believe me,dh will never look there :o

I hide cash. DH is self-employed and in the past we would hit a cashflow problem now and again if a client didn't pay.

Several times I have amazed him by producing a tin with $$$ hidden in it.

Nothing sinister, it's not a running-away fund or anything, I just like to have a hollow log somewhere.

When I was young, childless and sharing a flat with my best friend, we'd buy an ounce of pot and I'd hide a couple of buds for when we'd run out (always at a financially inconvenient time of the month). I love the "tah-dah!!!" moment and saving the day Grin

Unfortunately my DH bakes and so does DS1, so no good my hiding stuff in the baking cupboard. My secret stash is in my handbag ... usually chewing gum (to keep it away from DCs) plus the occasional roll of fruit gums or refreshers.

VickityBoo · 08/03/2012 17:06

If there's a stash it's the baking box or underwear drawer for me!

MrsTractor · 08/03/2012 17:13

I hide anything I don't want eaten inside the big stockpot in the cupboard under the stairs - the giant mouse that lives in my house never thinks to look there!

Rocketfox · 11/03/2012 20:09

I hide the kids weekend sweeties in an empty cardboard flour tub in - yes you've guessed it - the BAKING DRAWER!!

Fuzzywuzzywozabear · 11/03/2012 21:05

I have an emergency Milka chocolate stash behind my tampons. Grin

vanillamum · 12/03/2012 23:28

Once where I worked a colleague (I didn't like them) had a secret stash of chocolate hidden under the polystyrene ceiling tiles. I never told anyone but I used to sometimes add to it or take something away and then closely observe them to see when they noticed and if they were pleased or puzzled. Then one day we got raided by the police looking for a known drug dealer and I got really panicked in case it wasn't chocolate up there and my fingerprints would be all over the hiding place. Luckily it was just chocolate but it serves me right.

CoffeeInTheMorning · 13/03/2012 18:40

When oldest son used to eat every chocolate biscuit in the house, we hid them all inside an empty box of Rice Krispies on top of the fridge - which he never went near. The whole family knew they were there, apart from him. This went on for about two years.

We also find it useful to hide multi-packs of crisps in the cupboard at the bottom of the photocopier.

MadameMessy · 13/03/2012 19:44

I keep anything I want kept secret in a box of old washing powder under the sink. not always chocolate (although mostly), sometimes little bits I collect for Christmas stockings.
I also keep my ofrs under the sink so not conveniently located for burglars!

tiggyfours · 18/03/2012 15:24

Two unopened blistezes and dairymilk in the airing cupboard.
