Why is my washing more creased and not less when I tumble dry it ?

I normally hang things to dry and very rarely iron but a few times lately I have used the dryer , I often read on here about people putting things through dryer and just shaking and not ironing so why the buggery is mine worse ?

It is a washer/dryer by the way in case that matters .

The cooler the wash, the less creases there are, I find.

Overfilling it and doing it for too long makes creases. At least when Dh does it that way.
I never put too much in and stuff always comes out fine.

Over filling could make sense , I do tend to do that and I know I shouldn't .

I don't do it for too long , it is never crispy type dry when it comes out , and I generally always wash on 40 so that should be ok .

Thanks for the ideas , will try it with a smaller wash and see if it helps .

washer driers usually have a smaller capacity for drying than they do for washing. You can check your instruction book, but you might have to take half the wet wash out and dry it in two cycles.

Yes you should halve the wet load - a tumble drier drum is much bigger than a washing machine drum so the clothes have more room to move around
