Recommendations for built in double oven please...

Would like a black/stainless steel on ideally.

Needs to last a LONG time..........

...ooohh, should say that I have been looking at the Ikea Framtid Ov8 forced air double oven as it has a 5 year guarantee.

Thoughts?

I've got an Indesit FIU20 in stainless steel, but I think it's been discontinued now. It is fab because it has pyrolitic liners in the bottom oven, so you can turn it up really hot and it burns all the grease off, and you just sweep out the bottom of the oven after. The bottom oven is nice and big, and is fan assisted, while the top oven is a good size for smaller meals. Have had it for 4 years, I think, without any problems, so I'd guess the new models would be ok.

Bosch- their most basic one- double fan- around £500 from John Lewis

I've got a Neff built in double oven. I really like it especially as it's extremely quiet. it's left over from the last owner and the first time i put it on i thought it was broken as it was so quiet.

i find it does cakes very well and is very well behaved.

only slight criticism is the grill pan which is weird as it has no handle or anything and you set the temperature for it like the oven. If I'd chosen it myself I'd have been pleased with the purchase.

very pleased with my Neff Oven but do buy one with self cleaning liners.

yes the grill is weird as you shut the oven door. don't use it a great deal.
