A lightweight but effective carpet cleaner - dont mind spending a bit - any recommendations?

Those rental ones work well but are so heavy! Maybe they need to be, to work well; wondered if anyone could recommend one thats manageable? TIA!

I bought a bissell carpet cleaner off the telly. Ideal world were selling them for about £90 (their pick of the day) and they also do flexipay. I only have to pay £22 for 4 months and it came with 2 bottles of shampoo, 2 bottles of hard floor cleaner (attachment for hard wood floors included) and a can of spot cleaner. Not sure if they still have it but it might be a little more expensive. Also you can always send it back if it's not good enough but I have to say the one I got was the small version and it is brilliant. Never bought from them before but I'm impressed with the one I have. Hope this helps.
