My biggest regret in choosing our lovely Bosch double oven is that I chose one that doesn't have self cleaning walls.
So the walls behind the metal grills (that the shelves side into) get really really dirty and are hard to clean without taking the grill bit off, which I've done so many times that it's actually broken one of the attachments.

Anybody got any tips about keeping the sides of your oven clean ? has anyone tried to put some of that black oven liner down there ?

hi - if you go back to the supplier or some other bosch retailer you may find that the stay clean liners for the side are available as an optional add on for your oven - other than that all you can do is carry on as you are doing taking off the rails to clean behind. what are you cooking to make a lot off mess - if you cook on the fan setting at a slightly lower temp it lessens spitting - if its meat or a chicken try using a roasting bag or putting into a dish with high sides
