Cleaning microwave-put finger through inside wall!!!

See-nothing good can come of cleaning! It looked like metal but was paper like. Now there's a big hole. I've no idea what it's there for but don't feel safe using it til I know. Anyone?!

I think it's called the 'wave guide cover' and you can replace it.

If it was fragile, it had probably got burned by having food splaters on it, which are overheated as they are in the main path of the "waves"

You need to keep this little window very clean at all times.
