how much would you pay for an iron then?

i need a new iron - mine is quite a few years old and has had its day....its a Tefal one, its been fine but i cant get the soleplate clean - its quite "sticky" now and doesnt glide like it used to

i am sat reading the Argos catalogue and am none the wiser - i usually buy a mid priced model but it seems that some models are £85 or more!

does anyone have any recommendations? my only must have is a large water tank as i hate having to stop and unplug it every 5 mins to refill - i always iron with steam.

just want a decent mid price model....unless anyone can recommend a really expensive one that does it all for me

don't think you are supposed to use anything apart from plain water from what I recall - think it can invalidate warranty! But apart from that it is expensive for what it is! Water with a bit of perfume! Nice though!
