Plastic shower curtain in washing machine?

Can I do this? And if so, what setting and temperature? And if I add bleach, where do I put it, in the drum, or where the powder goes?

I have done it in the past, 30wash, scrub any black mould with bleach before it goes in. Bio powder is probably best.

I do mine at 40 but soak the mildewy part in a bucket of cold water with a little bit of bleach for 4 hours beforehand.

You can put a couple of old towels in too to give some friction to rub the soap scum etc off.

Thanks for the tips, will do it now. It's been soaking in bleach in the bathtub so will use bio powder in the machine.
