Help please! Highlighter stains on sealed wooden floors

Hello everyone!

My two gorgeous terrors were drawing on paper on our wooden floorboards (sealed with a stain) with highlighter pens -- and it has leaked through on to the wood. Aaaaaargh!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would remove this, if anything? I don't even want to consider sanding and resealing at this point.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Babywipes.
They seem to get everything off everything so may be worth a go and shouldn't damage the stain.

This is why I have huge rubbish tablecloths from the poundshop that I can lay on the floor, the kids can lay/sit on to paint/colour/glitter, whatever and then I roll it up and throw it away.

It will fade, florescent highlighter ink is very unstable.
If gentle methods won't shift it I'd try and ignore it for a bit before worrying.
A few weeks sun shine may do the trick.

Thank you, both! I will wipe ... and bide my time Grin
