Where to buy nice children's bedding

Got a duvet set from izziwotnot in tk max at Christmas and its lovely - good quality and cute design without being something DD will grow out of too soon. Can anyone recommend another brand to look at. Next used to be a winner on design but not keen on their quality anymore

I have always loved Laura Ashley kids bedding. Lovely quality, pricey though. I always wait for the sales.

Zara Home often have nice stuff. Can't link as on phone but might be worth looking at their website. Don't think they have many actual stores in the UK yet.

Sainsbury's TU are very good quality and hold up to repeated washing very well,
great price. Look out as they often have 25% off or sell cheap when they are changing designs.

Ooh i would like to know this too, ds1 was bought some cars2 bed covers for christmas and they are made of plastic polysomething or other, they slide off the bed and are hideous irritate his exzema as they make him very hot, so i need some lovely cotton bed sheets for him that dont have a horrid character on!

Oh and i like ikea childrens bedding, have a couple of lovely sets for ds from there

We got some gorgeous quality stuff from Aspace about five years ago, and it still looks and acts like new when it's washed etc. Think it will last until the DC leave home at this rate!!!! Not cheap though, but in terms of the fact they will probably last 15+ years and beyond, then getting value out of them for sure.

Just how nice are these children, and why do they need special bedding?

I've had nice stuff from John Lewis - good quality, washes well, no fading (we are still having wet nights so it has a fair bit of washing)
Wasn't the cheapest but it is nice.

I find mothercare naff & bad quality generally but all 4 dc have duvet covers from there & they're great.

Another Laura Ashley or Little White Conpany fan here. Great quality! Can be found on eBay too, if budget is tight. Both do v good discounts/sales too

I love the IzziWotNot range - we had moses basket things for DS in one of their ranges, and it was gorgeous.

Designer Guild has lovely childrens bedding (duvet sets, throws, bedspreads and the like, and sometimes rugs to match too) at similar prices.

I love the Laura Ashley stuff too, and M&S do a decent range. As does Aspace, some in GLTC (I think), and John Lewis too.

That said, I bought two very nice duvet cover and pillowcase sets from Dunelm for £7.99 each for DS' bed. A city scene one (they don't have this anymore) and Dinosaurs (this os down to £5 something for a duvet cover and pillowcase, which lets face it is a fabulous price, even if it just gets used as an aleternative when everything else is dirty).

Kidsline does lovely bedding too, but I think the biggest size they do is cot bed.

Another cote for Laura Ashley. Their 100%cotton gets softer with each wash, lovely colours which mix and match, don't date etc. Ebay's great for cushions, bunting made in the fabrics too.

I buy from www.homespacedirect.com . They have some lovely children's bedding in cotton, and polycotton (they also do the polyester microfiber ones but don't touch those with a barge pole).

I second Aspace. It's attractive and it doesn't fade.

Google the brand Hiccups - really really lovely. WUite busy but gorgeous colours, washes well and good quality

I bought loads of Laura Ashley duvets 2nd hand off e-bay, because it was so cheap I managed to get 4 sets plus I chopped up a set for DS2 Junior bed. SO please with the quality. Because the bedroom window is long I purchased a set of curtains and chopped them up into strips, interlined and blackouted them. It was the trucks theme and looks so cute. Think a paid around £12 a set while I purchased 2 sets for £20. Curtains cost about £100.

I definitely have to recommend www.babyface.uk.com, the childrens bedding is soooo nice. It's 100% cotton and my daughter absolutely loves the fairy duvet set I bought her. Great too if you want to try and co-ordinate the room as I also bought a matching fairy storage box and message board.... got a bit carried away...ooops!!

Always loved Laura Ashley- I have a bedset that I brought for my 21 yr old for her 10th birthday and my 8yr old has it on her bed now! Hasn't faded much and still has lots of life left in it!

yes the Laura Ashley ones are really good. Mine have had them plus the blankets.
