I love my floor steamer, although I don't use it every time.

what do you do with a hand held one? Bathroom/kitchen?

Ive just got myself one... it depends what you want it to do I guess. Mine was not as good as I hoped, but then, I may of been after it doing miracles Grin

One came free with my (beloved) steam floor mop. Used once. Might use it once a blue moon for doing the conservatory windows, but certainly wouldn't have paid for it.

Thank you, are floor steamers any good then?

I got the jml power pocket steam mop two days ago and I absolutely adore it- floors I thought were pretty clean were really manky from the dirt on the cloth. I love it - worth weight in gold.

I've bought the hand steamer for shower (mines a nightmare), oven, windows etc - expecting delivery sometime next week, will let you know how I get on with it

Thank you, might invest in a steam mop!

Can u clean wooden floors with it barbielovesken?

wannaBe · 12/02/2012 10:32

ime and from reviews I have read online, while stem mops and cleaners can be good, they don't have a very long shelf-life. So a review will read that it's the ost fantastic product ever purchased, only to be followed up by another one saying that it stopped steaming after about twenty uses.

Have read the same thing about multiple different steam cleaners/mops. so I wouldn't ever buy one.

Barbielovesken · 12/02/2012 12:36

Yes, you certainly can anniwoo - it's specifically for wooden floors and tiles (I don't have any carpets as dd1 is asthmatic). Works a treat.

It has an attachment for carpets/ rugs etc though but states it's not a carpet cleaner but will sanitise/ deodorise/ refresh carpets. I have used it on dd1s mattress to kill any dust mites.

The smell after steaming is just fab. Really fresh (and I'm a lover of smelly products but no more)

Ooh hope not wannabe

We have a hand held one, we do the kitchen, oven ,bathroom, paintwork, windows, mattresses,
kitchen and bathroom floors with it.

Dp loves it, he'll wander round the house trying to find things to clean with it. Grin In fact the only time I get to use it is when he's at work .

What one do you have moonmother?
