pale carpets..advice please.

Have just bought wool pale carpets for high is h use area.Please can any one give me tips on how to keep clean and waht touse if we get a spill such as make up .We have only had wooded floor up till now ......thanks

My only suggestion would be to buy a carpet cleaner

Why? Seriously, WHY would you do that? Yes, buy a Vax (or whatever the current equivalent is).

Get rid of the kids and pets, never eat or drink and never go outside?

I would love a wool carpet, primarily because it's a resource we need to make more use of, but with 2 really messy kids, we know that we're realistically going to have to stick with polypropylene when we replace our livingroom carpet.
