Fabric for Curtains and Blinds - Edinburgh

WMDinthekitchen · 03/02/2012 09:48

I need to have various curtains and blinds made for my new house. If anyone has done the leg work (no I am not lazy, just already really hard pressed with work, family etc) and can recommend a curtain/blind maker in or near Edinburgh it would be very helpful. Cost not the only consideration although do not have a fortune to spend.

Whatever you do get them interlined. Sorry I'm in Dublin so can't help with a recommendation.

Yellow pages, or Google it. No one is too busy for a quick google...

I have just bought a load of fabric from Mandors in Glasgow. They had a good selection, were very helpful and also have a shop in Edinburgh.

Remnant Kings are based on Bonnington Road and have a good selection of fabrics. I've bought material from them but haven't asked them to make anything up for me. They are only 5 minutes drive from Mandors so if you are going to see one shop you may as well see both.

Mandors is amazing.

Also cotton & chintz out Gyle way who I think also have a curtain maker there!
