I am considering buying one. Ideally not a massive one but under £150 ish. Recommendations please!

We have a Bissell. It is utterly fab and I love it. I am the kind of person who tips over a bottle of bright red nail varnish, or a whole cafetiere of coffee etc. I really need this in my life.

(could you persuade your BF they need one too and go halfers?! It totally is possible to share one of these!)

That sounds good! Unlikely my bf & I could share, she lives about 2 hours away!
Do you know which model you have? Does it leave the carpet wet?

Ours is about 3 years old so not a current model. leaves the carpet a bit wet yip, we usually do it overnight or first thing in the morning and put the heating on. Dries pretty fast. Enjoy!

I have a Bissel too. I have 2 spaniels and live in an Army quarter with cream carpets... I have this one. It gets everything out, I use it about once a month. As long as you do the sucking up properly the carpets are only slightly damp - I do it in the evening and they are bone dry by morning. My friend has the same model but paid £230 for it from Littlewoods

(tassisssss was vague on wetness and model as it's actually DH who uses it)
