As title says really! DD dropped dark red nail varnish into cream carpet (in our rented house with inspection next week) and need to remove it ASAP.

How much? Was it the bottle, or a dab from the brush?

If its a little, I would try NV remover. Just a little bit so not to dilute it to spread further. Or cut it out? I've done that with a cigarette burn. Just take the tip if the carpet hairs off with nail scissors.

If its a lot I don't think there is much you can do.

I cut it out when I did the same but it was Only a small bit. I would imagine NV remover would spread it out and make it worse.
