Panasonic washing machines

Thinking of buying a Panasonic washing machine but just wondering if any of you Mumsnetters had any experience of what they are like. They are fairly new in the UK and currently come with a free 5 year warranty. I'm thinking Panasonic wouldn't put their name to anything that was rubbish?

I would want to see some good evidence. Their TVs and recorders, are really good, but I've had two Panasonic vacuum cleaners, an upright and (more recently) a small cylinder, and both are very poor.

I just looked on "Which"

As usual, Bosch and Miele are the popular good ones. I can't see a review for a Pansonic.

Have you got a budget in mind?

The B range are supposed to be pretty basic, and not much better than non-brand stuff.

The G and X ranges are supposed to have some sort of special motor that makes them very quiet and less likely to break down, and they generally throw in a 5 year guarantee on the back of that.

It seems some websites are selling the basic NA-148VB3WGB model at a similar price point as the NA-148VG3WGB in the hope of fleecing unwary punters.
