I love orange foods, papaya, pumpkin, squash, sweet potato, oranges!
Mostly I am slightly obsessed with butternet squash. I am not pregnant, but when I was it was worse, I was scared I would get Carotenosis (it's real).
This is a recipe I know from living in America where they have more respect for the squash:
1 butternut squash
half it
scoop out seeds with a spoon
get a baking tin and put the halves cut side down with 1 inch water
cook for a while, maybe 30 mins
take out of oven
drain off water, turn squash other way around, hole side up and put butter, soft brown sugar and cinnamon in the hole.
Cook until soft.
My American ex-mother-in-law taught me that one 100 years ago.
