fortnightly cleaner - what to clean inbetween?

I've just started having a fortnight cleaner (woo hoo!) And am wondering what to clean on the in between week. Tbh the house feels like a total clean would be good, but I don't want to waste my money in cleaners time.

What do / would you do?

I have a fortnightly cleaner and do very little in-between. Apart from kitchen surfaces, sink, loos as needed, I might give the kitchen floor the once-over, sweep the hall and throw the hoover round the lounge. Depends on your standards though - if you'd normally clean every week you probably feel the need.

It's lovely to have the cleaner but a bit frustrating when you have people round the day before she's due!

Weeeeell, I do the kitchen every day, floors when they need it, loo most days, change the sheets weekly, bathroom (quick swish) two or three times. I leave dusting, bin cleaning, skirtings and doors, light fittings, windows, deep cleaning kitchen (so inside and tops of cupboards, oven and fridge, extractor), deep cleaning bathroom (behind basin stand, proper tile clean, etc) to the cleaner. Between us we seem to do ok. It depends on your house really.
