Do you just use ordinary ceramic hob cleaner? Or does it require something else? Just the e-cloth for the odd splodge, but what about grease? Thanks

I don't use anything special - I just wipe it down with hot soapy water at the same time as the work tops.

I use hot soapy water and rinse it quickly before it gets streaky. For a final polish I use a few drops of vinegar on some kitchen roll to finish it off. I love my induction hob!

Many thanks! we're doing similar. Like the idea of the vinegar on kitchen roll, for shine.

Hot soapy water, and buff with a tea towel. Have never had to scrape anything off - it's fab!

Hot soapy water and a couple of sprays of windowlene!

I have a special tool with a kind of razor blade in it to scratch off any burnt on food that has been spilt on it. I use it on the inside of my glass oven door too. I don't know what it's called but it works well.

I use astonish 'oven and cookware cleaner', and a great. Bought it from Lakeland but found it in. Wilkes too.

Never needed anything more than a sponge with washing up liquid and a buff with a tea towel.

Suttonmum1 · 02/02/2014 14:52

Non stick type sponge and washing up liquid for serious spills. Glass cleaner spray and Ecloth mostly. It is so easy to keep clean.

RandomMess · 02/02/2014 14:53

Mr Muscle and kitchen roll for dried on spills of stuff.

dontcallmemam · 02/02/2014 16:24

Hob Brite, smear it on with kitchen roll, wipe with clean damp j cloth.

Choccybaby · 02/02/2014 19:18

Water with a little bit of white vinegar and washing up liquid in a spray bottle (that cleans most of my house too) with a microfiber cloth.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/02/2014 09:26

A damp ecloth general purpose cloth then dry with an ecloth polishing cloth.
