Steradent Tablets - how do you use yours?

A friend at work recently told me she used Steradent tablets for cleaning her toilets.

I've now bought a pack and I'm now wandering if they can be used to clean anything else. Not sure if I can use them in the dishwasher or washing machine.

All ideas welcome.

Really? I'm a dentist and find this rather odd! What's wrong with toilet cleaner?

I use them to get tea stains off the inside of mugs. It takes longer than bleach but doesn't damage the surface.

AKissIsNotAContract - I think it is one of those things where it covers a few cleanings jobs - like vinegar.

BTW I don't know what steradent costs (don't have dentures) but for cleaning the sink I am happy to use the cheapest value-brand tabs. You can also put toothbrushes in them from time to time.

I use bicarb of soda down the loo. Works a treat.
