How do you get your shower door clean

It's not the clear plastic but the chrome door frame that is water stained and we live in a hard water area. I've tried all the usual products including Viakal but nothing has worked. Can anyone advise me what they've use/d that has worked.

Usually these products will work effectively, but you can also try diluted citric acid or descaler from waitrose, dilute it and soak with cotton wool and wrap it on the chrome surface. Try a small area first. Make sure the chrome door frame is make of metal not chromed plastic before you try these it on.
Household vinegar is another choose.
If stains have gone mouldy between gaps it is a completely different problem to deal with.
