What's so good about ecloths?

Because they're a bit pricey!

Why are they better than a dish cloth? Do you really need all the different types or will general purpose do?

Do not know. Would like to know. Therefore will lurk.

Apparently some shops have cheaper ones?

I love my ecloths. I'm allergic to loads of cleaning products and they work very well to pick up all sorts of grime with just water - they do a glass polishing one too which cleans mirrors and glass quickly and easily without smears.

Someone gave me a non-branded microfibre cloth once (I know, I get the BEST presents! Wink) which is OK too but find the ecloths work a bit better.

Can anyone do a link? I just wondered what they look like. I know a lot of people talk about them on here but I don't really know a lot about them.

PrimaBallerina · 21/01/2012 22:33

I can't link from my phone but I've seen them on amazon and ocado.

I have tried all the cheaper alternatives but the ecloths are best, and do wash up and last well. I think they're just a VERY dense microfibre. The glass polishing one is amazing and changed my life. Now when my MIL is coming round, I don't clean the bathroom, I just wipe over with that and it shines it all up and looks like I've spent hours on it lol.

I too am allergic to loads so they've been fantastic for reducing chemical use.

Just started using these and they are awesome. Bought the ecloth mop today and really can't believe how good it is. Seriously amazing

Well ... Waitrose had E cloths half price a while ago, oh joy, thought I, those are the fellows for me and promptly brought some. Huh they leave bits and make me cross.... back to knitted dishcloths for me !

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/01/2012 18:53

So, just to clarify, the greasy hob I cleaned earlier after todays greasy fry up could have been cleaned with just an ecloth wrung out in hot water?

Have any of you got the leather furniture one? or the shower kit one that attatches (sp?) to the wall?

RustyBear · 22/01/2012 18:55

They are great for polishing my iPad screen!

anniewoo · 25/01/2012 18:51

I have the pink one. It's ok not great for the money

MrsJamin · 25/01/2012 19:06

Any microfibre cloths are fine, you don't have to have e cloths. If you have a dunelm mill near you (classy as it is), they have packs of different ones so you can get one for glass, one for electronics, one for bathroom, one for kitchen. works out 50p (link). Bargain.

Great for glass, granite surfaces...wash well.
I have 6 plus 6 of the buffing cloths, and just keep rotating them.
I also have j cloths for the toilet.
