The cat is not normally allowed in the living room because he has a tendency to scratch furniture and I've just notice that he's scratched one of them really badly. It looks awful, lots of little holes and scratches all over one arm.

Is there anything I can do to repair it? I've seen leather repair kits online - are they any good? Should I get a professional repairer in?!

a bit off message.......giving advice re going forward.......my non leather sofa has been annihilated by my dog and cat....I now have a trendy throw placed strategically Grin....but apparently dogs don't like citronella...may work for cats too

My mum's cat did this to an expensive leather coat. It had been bought on a credit card so she was able to claim for a replacement. Any chance of that with the sofa?

Hmm, we did pay for it on credit card, will check that out. Thanks. Will also try the citronella idea (same cat keeps bloody weeing in the fireplace Angry)

No use for the holes but Lansinoh is good on scratches if you have any, makes them barely noticeable!
