Wax on rug !! Oops .

I wax my legs at home and spilt half a ton of wax on the rug, leather sofa and laminate floor! :(

I used the paper bag and iron method but it hasn't removed it completely and now I'm sticking to the floor when running around after dd1, dd2 and dd3.

How can I get rid of the sticky residue that's left?

How about warming it with a hair dryer then quickly wiping up with a hot soapy cloth?

Warmish iron and grease proof paper (or maybe try paper towel).

I was told this years ago, trying to think if it was baking paper, you know the paper you wrap around your christmas cake so it doesn't burn, Partchment paper? Hope it works!
