I'm suspicious because Nuo are very cheap and a brand I've never heard of. However they do have a long guarantee, and Dyas is a well-established company, so you might take a punt on one.

Some of the Nuo appliances look quite stylish.

However, looking at the "Which" best buys, the top few are (best first)

Breville 4 in 1 multicooker VTP053 £55
Crock-Pot SCCPQK5025W £20
Cuisinart CSC650U £64
Lakeland 13662 £20
Breville ITP138 £35
Breville ITP136 £25

Hmm...

I was interested in it because it is big and cheap, and I like the idea of a pouring lip and the lid strap. But perhaps it's so cheap (£20 down from £40+) because it's not good! I wonder whether the slight gap at the pouring lip causes too much steam to escape.

But the decider is that it lacks an auto setting.

Thanks!

My mum bought a Nuo hand mixer. It lasted a weekend. She returned it and got her money back, but was an inconvenience heading into town twice in a week. She could have been unlucky, but it's not a ringing endorsement for Nuo quality.
