Replacement for my morphy Richards 6.5l slow cooker

my beloved morphy Richards slow cooker has gone to heaven, actually it's the inner pot that has broken but looking at the prices of replacing it, I may as well get a new one.

Any case I have decided I don't want another 'shiny' stainless steel one, so if anything will go for the brushed model. (48718)

Researching this afternoon I don't know whether to get the same again or go for the Cuisinart digital model, (psc65ou) as on the odd occasion the morphy Richards did burn the edges of some meals. Has anyone tried this model and can anyone help me choose?

Thanks muchly
Xx

I can't help with the cuisinart, but just wanted to say I bough my 6.5 morphy richards at a car boot for £8, brand new! So if you have any near by it might be worth keeping an eye out, or asking on freecycle or similar.

I have a smaller one as the 6.5 is a bit big when its just the 3 of us, and its asda own make about £15 and that is excellent, doesn't burn or stick at the edges, and is going strong after several years.

Also if you do want to buy a 'better' quality one the crockpot brand is supposed to be very good Smile

Oreo I bought that slow cooker this afternoon and then read this!

I must say it seems quite sturdy. And it's dishwasher proof too.

Op Amazon has the big slow cookers for £25 with free delivery.

Its just as good as the morphy richards if not better. I use it more, has been in the dishwasher every time, and I've had no problems with it. I know a few people who have it and everyone said its just as good as any other they have had Smile

i went with the amazon deal, and have the non shiny 6.5 again. For £25 you cant go wrong!
