I'm sitting here with tons of housework to do and a full day - well till 3.30pm to do it in and I'm sitting here MNing and watching How Clean is Your House!!

I need to get up and DO not sit and think about it!!

Please give me a kick up the behind and tell me to get on with it!

Mind you I'm sitting here doing the same. Dogs to walk, DD to get dressed, house work to do, then furniture to dismantle so DP can paint DD's room tomorrow!

Wow - in 25 minutes I have:

Done the washing up from breakfast
Swept and mopped the dining room and kitchen floors
AND
hoovered the downstairs hall!!

Woohoo!!

Now I will do a bit of (paid) work on the computer whilst I think of the next 3 jobs I can do.

I might just get somewhere today! Thank you Pepper!

I don't really care if no-one is reading this as it isn't interesting at all but it makes me feel better!

I shall be here intermittently all day as 2 boys and DH are off sick today.
Have taken the only healthy child to preschool.
Mainly I'm boil washing towels and bleaching stray items that go past...

Oh dear Pepper! What a day you must be having!! Hope they are all better soon and you and the washing machine can have a rest!

I've now hoovered the living room and washed the patio doors inside and out! I can't beleive how much I've actually achieved today! I think writing it down makes you realise just how much you've done. I know that alot of other people do this sort of thing every day/week but I'm shamelessly giving myself a pat on the back!

Well done Frosty I managed to put a load of washing on before walking the dogs, then I got distracted from my cause and took DD to the park!!

Just having a skive a quick rest before I try to catch you up!! Have sooo much to do!

Ok I've now cleaned the bathroom and mopped the floor in there.

Well I'm resigned to not getting as much done as you today you're on fire! And DP has just arrived with a cup of tea so I guess I might as well have another 5 mins on here! then I am going to do something constructive

Makes a change for me to be on fire Oreo, I can tell you!! It must have been Pepper's bossy voice this morning that spurred me into action!

Loads more still to do and it seems that the more I do the more I see that needs to be done!!

Well if it lasts long enough I'll leave a key under the mat feel free to come and expend some energy here . Right I'm getting up, my 5 mins has turned into 40!!! Thats my problem. So I'm going to achieve a lot now! I will not sit down and put computer on untill DD is in bed!

Oh Frosty thats not good . Might be worth asking in the post office if anyone handed it in (I found £5 out side the PO and handed it in once).

On the plus side though I bet you feel good sitting in your pristine house! And you win hands down on the domestic goddess front .

I have done quite a bit but the place was such a tip from the weekend you can hardly tell at all!

My dp has been away for a couple of days and he hasn't noticed a thing! Shows how far I have to go really doesn't it!!

As for the money, I may ask in the post office tomorrow and in the shop (ds had to buy some crisps as it is hungry work walking to the post office which is all of 10 minutes away!) and also ask my mother in law as we popped in to see her too. But if I don't find it I hope whoever did enjoys it - unless they buy some scratch cards with it and win millions!!
