Eek! My iron is spewing yellow liquid!

My fancy-shmancy steam generator iron is suddenly spewing yellow water and very little steam.

What's happened?

What do I dooooooo?

It needs to be descaled. I'm not sure how you do it with a steam generator I only get unfancy plain irons . If you dig out your instructions it will tell you what to do. Some irons have a self clean button, others you have to use a purpose bought descaler (about £1 you can get them anywhere).

I have a bosch steam generator and every so often I am supposed to take a cap off the bottom of the generator bit and swoosh around lots of water inside before pouring it all out again. Is supposed to help descale/clean it out.

Maybe get another one!!, I would!. Mind due there is a positive side to this!!, the Chinese say if you see YELLOW it means 'Wealth' so........get that Lotto ticket!! ha ha
