Dear mums,
My 18mths DD spilled her milk onto our superking size duvet and it soaked right through into the mattress during the night
. To cut long story short, she slept with us and I gave her bottle (midnight feed.....she has been unwell). She must have hugging her bottle and it leaked...I think a full 8 ozs of milk was soak right through
(I could have cried).
I need advise how to clean our superking size duvet. I don't think I can fit it into our washing machine as the last time, it only managed to take a double duvet with me wedging the door closed! Unfortunately the local laundrette takes time to clean it (like a couple of days), and we need it for our bed at night.
Should I just wipe the 'milk' part of the duvet with wet clothes and air dried it? Like hanging over the door? Febreeze the milk part? Steam it (using my steam iron)?
Please help!
