Stained car seats

Any tips? It's water believe it or not. DS spilt some water over the back (light blue fabric) seat, and it now has a water/tide mark stain. Confused. Anyone used anything good for this? Reluctant to add anything to it at the moment.

1001 might work.

We had a watermark on my car upholstery. DS was sick in the car, and in cleaning it off, the watermark is now gone.

so 1001 or sick got it off.

I thought 1001 or similar (but not sick Grin) do they do an upholstery cleaner or was it the carpet one Nagoo?

mousse for carpets and upholstery.

I have no tips on technique as DH did it. Grin

Fab-thank you Nagoo. It looks really awful. Blush

I used an upholstery cleaner on ours. Try to limit whatever you do to just one panel of fabric if you can - if you can get that reasonably even, then it doesn't matter if its a shade darker/lighter then the other side of a seam.

Thanks AMum. Can't believe water can stain. Confused

It moves the dirt! Basically, the water has pulled the dirt which was already on the seat into a pattern where it's not just an even layer any more Grin It was awful on ours - cream upholstery, never a good plan!

Does the cover not come off? You could wash the whole thing then?
I'm sure the cover on our group 0+ seat and group 1 seat come off - although they might be a pita!

Sorry sleepy it's the actual seat of the car. I wish it was a baby car seat-although I remember the wrestling the cover back on well. Grin

So I have dirty and stained seats AMum. Shock
