How to store a fridge?

I had to buy a second-hand fridge just before christmas as ours packed in.

So, old fridge is now working and second-hand fridge is redundant. But, have been thinking a spare fridge might be useful in the summer.

Can I unplug it and store it in the garage or will it turn green inside?

Clean it well, make sure it is dry inside and store with the doors open to let air circulate (doesn't have to be wide open but ajar enough to get your hand in). That should be fineSmile
