Colour run on clothes!

Quick question.. Just done a white wash, forgetting there was already a new pair of jeans in the machine. Everything has now come out with blue patches!! I can't get out to asda till tomorrow as dd is down for the night and no one free to watch her (single patent). Any suggestions till then? Would leaving all the clothes soaking in water in the bath until
I can re wash be any good? Only thing I can find under sink is a 1/4 bag of soda crystals Confused. Usually I always keep a tub of vanish wash but typically none left when I need it!!!

Are they all white items? If so, would you want to bleach the items? I have done this successfully many times. Either a bucket or bathful of cold water and normal bleach (instructions are on the bottle with dilution levels), leave to soak then re-wash in the machine once (or twice if you are concerned re: baby clothes etc).

If they are patterned, I have just managed to fix a lovely cream cotton top with a flower pattern from Next of DDs; boiled on the hob with biological powder, changed the water and new powder twice, then boiled with a very diluted level of bleach. Then washed in machine again as normal Smile

Thanks for reply. It's mostly patterned stuff so I think bleach is out of the question! I know there is a vanish stuff that's done the trick before but it's just I can't get it till tomorrow Sad. Clothes are in baby bath filled with water. Fingers crossed I can get it out. Typically all stuff I got in the sales for dd. ahh!! Angry

I'd buy actual colour run - I've had good results with it
