Clean the bit of a toy where a battery goes? It's all brown and manky inside. I found it in the wardrobe (forgot we had it & dd2 would love it)

Oh, btw, it's one of those activity table thingys

If it's just a battery (AAA or AA or similar) and not mains powered or rechargeable then yeah you can clean it. Don't get it too wet, use a moist-ish cotton bud. And make sure it's thoroughly dry before you replace the batteries.

It's working again, thanks very much Captain! And to think I was gunna throw it away Shock Am glad actually as she's a proper grump today & it's keeping her very busy now
