Does anyone know how you go about getting rid of calamine stains? DP's trousers, our carpet and a sheet all got fairly liberally splattered. So far we've put the trousers through a normal wash and they look the same as before they went in. I'm hoping to get some proper advice before doing anything to the carpet so I can avoid permanent damage (if possible).
The carpet was a fairly cheap offcut so probably synthetic fibres, possibly foam backed but I can't remember the details.
