Snooze fest I know, sorry but ours has died a death. Bearing plate has gone so it isn't worth fixing. The chap has been out and confirmed the issue, we're still using it but the noise is horrendous and we're needing to get a new one in the sales.

Has to be at least 7kg load and efficient spin cycle as 3DDs and manky DH and a dog make for a lot of laundry!

Am not fussed regards colour but it's going in next to the tumble dryer which is a silver colour.

Previous one was hotpoint but had Candy before that.

Any clues/ideas/recommendations would be gratefully received Smile

...but the best machine of all is the ISE, made in Sweden at the ASKO factory and available on line over here. I have replaced my 28 year old ASKO ASEA machine with the ISE (they have a standard 10 year guarantee) and because the design is so elegant after 28 years they dont look out of date. I did consider trying a Miele but it would be a bit like only getting an A grade for an A-level instead of an A*!

We have a 9kg load machine, its an lg steam washing machine This is the one It was the biggest machine in terms of load when we bought it and I bought it as my dd has hay fever and dust mite allergy and this one seemed best for removing impurities. I really like our machine it runs quietly and plays a nice tune when the load is finished.
