I think I may know what the answer is here but is there a way of removing a scorch mark from a candle on a wooden coffee table?

Is it a very expensive or special table? If so you should take it to a professional.

If not then rub it with wire wool. It depends on how 'deep' the burn is as too how much you have to rub. Keep rubbing and checking and stop as soon as the stain is rubbed away.

If it was just a light scorch and you have not removed the stain of the wood then touch up the area with clear varnish or beeswax (depending on the finish). If you have had to rub away the stain then you will have to re stain the whole table (to get a better 'match'). You can also buy coloured beeswax that might do the trick, a thin coat all over and reapply on the area that you rubbed untill you get a match.

Can you tell I had a miss spent youth Grin.
