Alternative to Family Life Book Diary??

I used the Organised Mums Family Life Book this year and found it so helpful to organise us all......ahem, but clearly I wasn't that organised as it's only just occurred to me to order another one for next year. They're bloody well out of stock! Does anyone have a good similar diary?
(I'm also a bit miffed - it's a 16-month diary, but overlaps by four months. What's the point of that? Irrelevant point though seeing as I can't get one....)

Do you mean this? It let me add one to my basket, so isn't acting like it's out of stock (although it could be lying to me?)

I haven't seen the family life book but if it isn't too late, you could have a look at the collins home & work diary - I have just ordered one for myself today. :)

ElphabaisWicked · 31/12/2011 22:53

You are supposed to start using it in September but it overlaps by 4 months so you can put Sept-Dec appointments in your old diary in the run up to September then transfer them to the new one when you get it in September.

I have the family calender but just use the pocket diary as it fits into my handbag.

chickenfeet · 31/12/2011 23:28

Thanks, will have a look at the Collins one.
Bessie26 - the one I'm after is the Family Diary which has lots of extra columns for different family members, while the one that you linked to is the Life Diary.
Ah I guess that makes sense to be able to transfer things over to the new one. Oh well, will put a note in my new diary to order one a bit earlier next year!

I bought a family life book a couple of days ago from the great little trading company - google will give you the web address.

@Chickenfeet, if you do find a comparable alternative, please let me know. I am lost without mine and it was on my christmas wish list. Hmmph!

MaLopez · 02/01/2012 17:01

@Chickenfeet. I kept checking ebay and found that this seller lists them intermittently. Jutst bought one. Her username is nadiawin and she just listed another one after I bought it so she might have them in stock. Hurry!

dazzlingdeborahrose · 02/01/2012 18:35

John lewis stocks them too.

Would a family calendar be of any use or do you carry it around with you?

I've been using Organised Mum products for 3 years, but opted this year for a Filofax.
Totally customisable, range of sizes, colours, accessories.
Just buy refills when necessary. Also possible to print your own pages if none of the refills available hits the spot.

halcyondays · 03/01/2012 00:43

Someone posted on MSE that they are selling the OrganisedMum Family Life books in The Works for £4.99. Not all stores seem to have them but worth a look if you have one near you. I've used them for the last few years and found them good, but having read the thread on getting organised in AIBU, I'm thinking of just getting a page per day diary instead.

TimeWasting · 03/01/2012 12:47

I'm considering the page per day refill for next for my filofax. It comes with the week to view diary so I'm using that for now.
