I have a indesit idl40 it starts off as normal but stops after a couple of minutes.
I found a great video on youtube that shows how to open it up and put the thermostat sensor thingie back, I did this switched it on with great hope, but it does the same thing. 
Should I give up and but a new one in the sales? I don't want to throw much cash at the thing because it's always been a bit crap, does anyone know about these things? Is it worth ringing an engineer?
