But I must've done it wrong cos it hasn't really worked. Blush

I have an inklng that I didn't put enough on. I was concerned about it dripping off. I left it overnight too as I haven't cleaned the oven in this house before. (Don't judge me. We moved in 8 months ago when I was 7 months pregnant and had DS who was 15 months. Lots of other things to worry about then) I have no idea when it was last cleaned.

The other thing is, do I need to do anything more now. I've wiped with paper (yuk, yuk yuk) and rinsed with water and wiped thoroughly with a cloth but, because it's still grotty looking I'm worried about residue when we need to use for eg. the grill pan for roasties on xmas day.

Help please.

Just rince it off and do it again until it's cleaned off . Probably needs a few goes if it's not been done in a while .

Put newspaper on the floor if you're worried about it dripping off :)

Just wash the grill pan ( dishwasher ?) after you've used the oven cleaner , if your worried about residue.

I used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I used nearly 3/4 of a bottle on a single oven - it's a year old never been washed. It worked like magic but I used about 3 rolls of kitchen roll to get it all off and then rinsed with water too.

I think I used about a third of the bottle for grill pan and rack, 2 shelves and the door.

Not enough stuff then! Bugger! It'll have to wait til after xmas now.

2 kids under 25 months - hmm - when was the last time I read a newspaper?

I'll stick them all in the dishwasher later.

Thanks all.

MERRY XMAS Xmas Grin
