Have just bought the above, the instructions state that the lime filter needs replacing after 18 uses!!! This will cost me a fortune, has anyone got one of these irons ? Does it really need replacing so often ?

Do you have hard water in your area? if not it will barely need changing at all. If you do then make sure you keep looking at it as you will see the build up on it if it is bad.

Thanks Sherbetpips, i live in a moderately hard water area apparently !! Wonder if i use filtered water it may help, or am i being a daftwit....
