Clearly I am too vigorous in my toilet cleaning as I've just broken 2 toilet brushes! They snapped where the handle meets the circle lid bit. Can anyone recommend?

I buy asda smart price or similar, about £1, and replace them often. Its mainly for hygene reasons, and to give them due praise I scrub like hell with them as our water is so hard the limescale is a nightmare, and they havn't snapped yet!
