tumble dryer woes :(

Just moved house.

Had to get a new TD 4 months ago as my old one broke - got a vented one as that is the only type I have ever had.

New house = no venting for TD in utility area and no way to do it.

Atm the TD in in the shed at the bottom of the garden BUT we cant use it when its raining - which it has been here for the last 3 days! - as there is nowhere to vent it from the shed either so the door has to be kept open.

Also, I fell downstairs yesterday and have broken a toe on each foot (yes, I know...sigh) so cant really walk down to the bottom of the garden easily anyway (shoes dont fit over my swollen toes!)

So, bearing in mind its almost brand new (bosch one) could I get a unit that would make it a condensor????

The reviews on amazon for these things arent great and the bosch helpline said you cant as the machines work in very different ways Is that true???

Really cant afford to buy another TD!

you could also hire a Core Drill from a tool hire shop. It will cut a very neat round hole in a wall that the duct will fit perfectly.

It is so easy that you will want to make holes for the bathroom extractor and cooker hood before you give it back.

they are fairly heavy so if you are not fond of DIY you might want to find a burly handywoman to help.

there is no where to drill into pg Its in a room off the converted garage with the kitchen directly behind it

HOWEVER have been onto John Lewis - where I bought it - and they are letting me send it back and re order a condenser one!!!

I bloody LOVE John Lewis!!!!
