I'm thinking of buying one for -me- my dcs. What kind of chocolate can I use? I've never liked the taste of cooking chocolate. There's a nice looking pink mini-one I think she'll like.

You have to mix chocolate with oil to get it to the right consistency

Thorntons sell a bag of choclate for the fountain for about £6 I think and it's not to bad just melt it a little before putting in the fountain or you'll be there forever waiting Grin

I just used dairy milk, although its even better with milky bar!! Agree, melt it a bit first, I've personally never added oil but have since heard you should. Worst thing about it is trying to clean it afterwards!

Look on Amazon- I bought a bag of choc. for fountains for £8. You melt it in the microwave then pour it into the fountain. Very nice and easy. I tried the Dairy Milk plus a bit of cooking oil route, but it's no cheaper anf more fiddly. Just make sure you wash the fountain as soon as you've turned it off, otherwise it's really tricky to clean.

You're supposed to use oil to make it runnier, I've used cream before instead - that was nice
