Has been standing in the upright positon, post transit on it's side, for 24 hrs now. Will it be ok to switch on, and if so, how long before I can use it.

Many thanks

Now it's had 24 hours upright it should be safe to switch it on. How soon to use it depends a bit on how efficient it is, and whether you mean to put pre-chilled or frozen stuff in, or to expect it to chill or freeze anything that's currently at room temperature.

I'd cheerfully put frozen stuff into it right away, same as I do when I've just finished defrosting mine, as it will keep it well-insulated even if it's not really up to power yet. But I wouldn't expect it to be able to freeze anything for a few hours yet - hopefully it will have some lights which will tell you when it's properly cold?

Same for the fridge bit - it should be fine for stuff that's already cold, but give it an hour or two before you expect it to chill something from scratch.

thanks, have another one in use at the moment so will keep that going until I see that the temp is good!
